1 question, how light is light and how heavy should be in order to receive minimal shock, speaking of an 166-170cm typical asian height and fitness, cant be near 12oz rite?

subjective matter, different people perceive shock differently & everyone has different sensitivities towards shock feeling & measurement. When I first started tennis with one racquet, I didnt have any correlation between gear & playing feeling. Eventually when I got more serious in tennis & started switching gear often, only then I realized the cause & effect of my gear to every aspect of the game.

I have one definite rule that I adhere to when it comes to racquet. The best racquet are the heaviest racquet but the question is, 'can u swing it?'. So put it this way, you should always get the heaviest racquet that u can use without it hampering your swing speed.

I have to disagreed with u.
The heaviest racquet is meant for those moderate or advance player,if u r bigginer i suggest use something lighter racquet until u can feel the ump !! then upgrade to heavier racquet.
But all boil down to individual see what they prefer,lighter or heavier racquet

That is why I said, 'get the heaviest racquet that u can use without it hampering your swing speed' .... so the heaviest racquet for a certain individual who just started playing tennis might just be 9 ounce or below 300 grams.
