Ok, I don't know if im getting ahead of myself with this post - heck, the clay dust has hardly settled - but i can't help it. I get super excited every year this time when the grass(although very short) swing of the tennis season comes up in the calendar. I read somewhere that despite being ranked 2nd, Federer is going to be no.1 seed. I guess that means Rafa will be the 2nd seed. Wimbledon has always had a different seeding formula to other slams. Anyway, whom do you guys think will stop Rafa & Fed from a rematch of their 2008 classic? As for the women's draw, who will stop the Williams Sisters(no.1 & 2 seed) from a 3rd consecutive final showdown? The Belgians? - Both of whom have questionable grass court game. Or Sharapova? Its hard to believe its been 6 years since she won her one and only Wimbly title. Oh and the big boys are playing at Halle & Queens this week. None of which is being shown on telly. - Whats up with that? |

Not crazy but just taking all the chances. He has nothing to lose, so he went for every ball. Nearly made it, but the mental side of the game and physical fitness came into play. Roger was extremely lucky. Roger is chased by a pack of hungry young "wolves" |

wheeww...finally some calm returned to SW19. Unlike day 1, top seeds in day 2 played according to the script. Rafa & Murray looked great on the grass. Is anyone surprised that both ladies french open finalists got knocked out? |
